Roaming the USA on a motorcycle. I have been practicing this for most of my adult life.  I am lucky and I know it; I don’t take it for granted; a lot of people would want to do this and for various reasons they can’t, so for them I write this blog. For those who can and for those who do, hopefully you will read and compare notes and best of all maybe we will cross paths on the road, the back roads the ones colored blue on most maps.  It costs you nothing to read and enjoy this site as I carry my own load here and it is all for fun.

48Bikers is the new site for what I hope to be a future book about 48 Bikers from 48 states that I meet on the road. It will be about the biker and the state they live in. It is the people I meet on the road that I find the most interesting. In the end, you the reader decide what a “Real Biker” is. I have a feeling we may all be surprised.

Random daily posts will still be found on www.colesclassic.com which was the practice blog for this endeavor that became  very popular and is still active.
